Sanjeev Kumar is Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science, Zakir Husain Delhi College, University of Delhi. His primary teaching and research interests are in the areas of political theory, social aspects of disaster response and recovery, citizenship study and Gandhian philosophy. He has been teaching for sixteen years and he has a number of publications in national and international journals. He has published two books – Gandhi and the Contemporary World (2020) and Rajneeti Siddhant ki Samajh (2018). He is a Senior Fellow at the Centre for Ethics, Politics and Global Affairs, New Delhi. He has been a Research fellow with the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS), New Delhi, and the Developing Countries Research Centre (DCRC), University of Delhi.
